Leaving Lost

Short documentary / 12 minutes / 2013

Leaving Lost examines Canberra artist Derek O’Connor’s relationship with the suburb of Fyshwick, where his studio is located.

'Not only is this a portrait of an artist, it’s a portrait of a place...the film teases out Derek’s engagement with a much maligned pocket of our city exploring the history, memory and the creativity that is sparked from his solitude.' - Alexander Boynes, Artist + Curator, Program Manager, Canberra Contemporary Art Space.
